scheduled to work at least twenty (20) hours per work week are eligible to
enroll for coverage (Medical, Dental, Vision and Life). This does not include

a self-insured plan administered by the Aultra Administrative Group. The plan

provided through Vision Service Plan offering in-network and out-of-network

is a term life plan with AD&D supplement through MetLife. Additional term life
insurance with MetLife can also be purchased through payroll deduction while
employed with the County. Upon retirement, eligible employees have a

OPERS (Ohio Public
Employees Retirement System) When you become an employee of Muskingum County, you are required by law to participate in the Ohio Public Employees
Retirement System. OPERS provides retirement, disability and other benefits to
public employees. Contributions are payroll deducted. For more information

. Deferred Compensation Plan: Employees have the opportunity to
participate in a supplemental retirement plan regulated by Section 457 of the
Internal Revenue Code. For more information contact the Human Resources Office. Vacation: Upon completion of one year of
service, Muskingum County offers two weeks of vacation annually to full-time
employees. Based on additional length of service, you can earn a maximum of five
weeks. Holidays: Full-time employees receive eleven
paid holidays each year. Sick Leave/Bereavement
Leave: Full-time employees earn sick
leave at the rate of 4.6 hours for each eighty hours in active pay status.
Full-time employees are granted three days of leave for bereavement in the
event of a death of an immediate family member. College Tuition Savings
Plan: Employees can participate in a
